Hello, my name is Ashley Engle. I am very excited and honored to begin my journey as a social worker with the growing CHOICES family! I was welcomed with kindness into the Parent/Teen Home Based Services Program. Each day is different from the next, providing the perfect environment for learning, growth and continuous development. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to help at-risk youth and their families each and every day!

I am a recent graduate of The Ohio State University, with a Bachelors Degree in Social Work. Shortly before graduating, I also obtained my Social Work Licensure (LISW). Throughout my college career I had the opportunity to learn and grow in many different employment settings with diverse populations. An amazing internship with the Greene County Juvenile Court’s Probation Department truly opened my eyes and my heart to youth, their families and their everyday struggles. I hope to utilize my position at CHOICES to assist families with the development of anger management skills and communication techniques, while strengthening the overall familial bond.

I was born and raised in the Dayton area and continue to reside here with my fiance, Michael and our very spoiled cat, Sasha. I hope to pursue my Masters Degree in the very near future.
