John Ward
HBS Manager
MCC, LCDCIII
Since the age of 14, I have been involved with child welfare in one form or another. I spent my teenage years as a foster child and was later adopted.
Now as an adult, I continue to be involved in many ways. My wife and I have been therapeutic foster parents since 1994. I currently work as a case manager for a private foster care network and spent 10 years as the Director of Counseling for a non-profit organization. I love training foster parents and social workers for the Ohio Child Welfare Training Program. I currently hold a Masters Degree in Counseling, and specialize in the area of Reactive Attachment Disorder. I am also a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor III for the State of Ohio.
In my personal world, I am a father of two biological children, and a father of three foster children. I am the only male in a household of six women and a Bloodhound dog. Wow, can I tell you stories!
