Hello there! I am Michelle Hoover, and I have worked at CHOICES, Inc. now for about a year and a half. I am a Foster Care Social Worker and currently live in Wilmington, Ohio. I graduated from Wilmington College in May of 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree. I double-majored in Psychology and Social Work. I did a couple of internships while in college – one was with a caseworker at Clinton County Probation, and the other was with a student advocate in elementary schools near Wilmington. I loved working with the kids, just not in the school setting. Right after graduating I worked as a sleep tech in a sleep lab (I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do and thought I wanted to gear more towards the Psychology route). That job helped me decide that I was meant to go more towards the Social Work field – I knew I wanted to make a difference in lives. So I got my social work license so I could begin my social work career! I love CHOICES, Inc. and couldn’t ask for a better company to work for. I also enjoy that each day is a new challenge and a new day to try and make a difference in someone else’s life, even if it is just putting a smile on their face!

In my personal life, I love spending time with my husband, family, friends, and my dog. I absolutely love to shop and watch movies! I also love the beach, palm trees, and the mountains.
