I am so pleased to be able to serve on the board for CHOICES.
I am a Dayton native, born and raised here. I attended Julienne High School and the University of Dayton. I am a licensed social worker, and have spent most of my career as an advocate for victims of crime, sexual assault, and domestic violence. I have worked at the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office Victim/Witness Division, the Dayton Police Department, United Way, and Artemis Center.
I served as the Director of Shelter Operations for the domestic violence shelter operated by the YWCA of Dayton until June 2006. I went in a totally different career direction, and have been working in real estate. I recently had the opportunity to return to HelpLink at United Way, doing work that I enjoy providing information and referral, and crisis hotline services.
I am blessed to be the mother of three daughters. My life partner and I enjoy sharing our home with two Old English Sheepdogs.
